DataSetFilters.surface_indices(progress_bar=False)

Return the surface indices of a grid.

Parameters:

progress_barbool, optional

Display a progress bar to indicate progress.

Returns:

numpy.ndarray

Indices of the surface points.

Examples

Return the first 10 surface indices of an UnstructuredGrid.

>>> grid = examples.load_hexbeam()
>>> ind = grid.surface_indices()
