download_moonlanding_image(load=True)

Download the Moon landing image.

This is a noisy image originally obtained from Scipy Lecture Notes and can be used to demonstrate a low pass filter.

Parameters:

loadbool, default: True

Load the dataset after downloading it when True. Set this to False and only the filename will be returned.

Returns:

pyvista.ImageData | str

DataSet or filename depending on load.
